Slow Fashion Philosophy...

Lollipet is born in Prato, a city renowned for being one of the most important textile districts nationally, always known for its 'recycling' of fabrics (hence the definition of cenciaioli given to the people of Prato, those who sorted fabrics to obtain rags for reuse).

This still represents a significant expression of craftsmanship that we proudly carry in our DNA today. Since its inception, Lollipet has embraced a Slow Fashion philosophy in all production processes.

... for sustainable production

The fabrics and accessories we use for creating our garments are sourced locally, Km 0, with a keen focus on various involved manufactures. Whenever possible, we buy fabrics made from both regenerated fibres and sustainably produced materials.

The manufacturing process, strictly artisanal, is 100% local, as we collaborate solely with suppliers, workshops, and seamstresses in the Prato region. This approach allows us to minimize fuel usage and generate job opportunities locally.

Production is planned based on sales, with no stock held in inventory. We believe this is the right way to nearly eliminate production waste.

Our packaging is almost totally plastic-free. Our dust bags are sewn from leftover fabrics used in the production of our garments, ensuring high quality and reusability.

Occasionally, a minimal amount of recycled plastic is used in the packaging for shipping, but we are working towards our goal of becoming 100% plastic-free by 2024.

We commit ourselves daily to adopt responsible purchasing practices, respecting ethical sustainability and the planet.

As a young and growing company, we do not yet have a specific certification, but all our processes are traceable and verifiable.
